Fake spam emails on behalf of Micropayment


Currently, e-mails are sent with payment requests using the name "Micropayment".

These emails are not from our company! We distance ourselves clearly from these emails and recommend highly to not open the attachments or the link to download (.zip).

How do you recognize these fraudulent emails?

  • You have no open invoices.
  • The message does not contain any detailed information about the order / service.
  • You are invited to download your invoice via a download.
  • An attachment is sent as a .zip or .doc file.
  • The e-mail contains incorrect spelling and grammar.
  • The sender, address, sales tax information provided in the e-mail is not identical to the data on our website. Company names with eG or GmbH & Co. KG do not belong to our group of companies.
  • A phone number specified in the e-mail is not available or not assigned.

Such and similar fraudulent emails are in circulation:

Dear Sir/Madam …,

regrettably your transfer to Micropayment GmbH & Co. KG could not be booked.

We expect the transfer plus the fees up to xx.xx.xxxx on our bank account. If we do not find funds by the deadline, we will be forced to hand over your reminder to a court. All associated costs will be borne by you.

To avoid further costs, we ask you to transfer the outstanding amount to our account. Due to the existing default of payment, you are instructed to pay the resulting fees of xx, xx Euro.

All booking entries up to xx.xx.xxxx were considered.

Please note that your invoice will only be settled when your payment is credited to our account.

  • Start your antivirus software.

  • Contact the police.
  • Inform your financial institutions.
