VETO is the association of European animal welfare organizations. As a non-profit organization, we fight for a Europe in which no dog or cat has to live a miserable life on the streets. Animal welfare workers have the necessary means to provide homeless animals with safe and complete care. And people take on long-term responsibility and recognize dogs and cats as sentient beings and as part of society.

What are your needs for online payment systems?

It is very important to us that the online payment system is secure for our donors and that this is also visually embodied by a serious appearance. At VETO, we rely on transparency, seriousness and trust. These cornerstones must also be reflected in our payment system. What does your organization offer and what makes your organization and its services unique?

In order to put an end to the suffering of the millions of homeless dogs and cats on Europe's streets, VETO follows a holistic concept: through food donations, we ensure that homeless dogs and cats are cared for and no longer suffer from hunger. We provide rapid support in the event of medical emergencies or natural disasters. We bring grievances to the public's attention and apply political pressure. And through comprehensive awareness and castration campaigns, we ensure sustainable improvements.

We offer a safe, solid and multi-layered donation system. This enables us to help the approximately 350 animal welfare associations affiliated with us and their charges quickly and effectively. Every year, we ensure the survival of tens of thousands of homeless dogs and cats in Europe. To ensure the greatest possible transparency and control, we organize the transport and delivery of the food donations ourselves. We regularly document the arrival of the donations in our newsletter, our social media channels and on our website. This way, all supporters can be sure that their donations will go exactly where they are urgently needed.
